Insieme per la Prevenzione del Tumore al Seno.
Oggi al grattacielo della Regione Piemonte per l’evento “La Regione si Colora di Rosa”, un’iniziativa per parlare di tumori al seno e dell’importanza della prevenzione.Durante il corso della mattinata, organizzata da ANDOS – Associazione Nazionale Donne Operate al Seno, sono stati toccati diversi temi tra cui l’uso delle nuove tecnologie per facilitare le diagnosi, il bilancio dell’anno passato e il lancio della nuova campagna di screening mammografici gratuiti.
Una mattinata importantissima e, come ha sottolineato la presidente di ANDOS Fulvia Pedani in questi anni lo screening ha aiutato a ridurre la mortalità del 50%, individuando lesioni non palpabili nel 46% dei casi.
Nelle prossime settimane inoltre, sarà proprio il Comune di Ozegna a lanciare una convezione con l’Associazione Nazionale Donne Operate al Seno, per riuscire ad essere presenti con ANDOS anche nel Canavese e far sempre più crescere la fiducia nei confronti della prevenzione.
